Doom, Descent, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Age of Empires and others!
If you'd like to participate, please register and describe your Beige Box setup.
CRTs are not required, but prizes will be given to the sickest setup
and participant with the largest working CRT.

Shaun, aka Cursed Silicon. I'll bring both my "Worlds Fastest Win98 PC". that'll play virtually anything Win9x (or early XP) compatible. I'll also bring the ThinkPad A22P for DOS stuff For stuff to play I'd love to get some StarCraft going. Or some Command & Conquer (any of!) if folks are into that. I'll also try to bring a small NAS appliance running SMB 1.0 plain HTTP so we can distribute game ISO's and patches and such efficiently. I'll need a table and a power outlet (I can bring my own power strip) plus a long network cable for uplink to other users If needed I also have a 16 port 10/100 switch. Not all old network cards negotiate down gigabit correctly so it may be useful!

Clay Erickson, SDF, SRCS Well, I'm feeling out-classed on the beige box bit. I have a Baby-AT tower with a AMD386-DX40 on an FX-3000 motherboard; 8MB RAM, no cache (sockets for up to 256KB, all empty), no 387 co-processor, no PCI bus, no built-in I/O and has American Megatrends AMI BIOS that appears Y2K compatible, with Oak Technologies VGA, 8-bit Sandblaster-compatible Mono card, Radio Shack serial PC mouse (optional) and a choice of NIC cards, either Intel 8/16 LAN Adapter, Intel Pro or Western Digital 10 Base T/2/AUI Adapter from the University of Illinois Computer Center. Storage hardware still up in the air, hopefully my eBay order is filled by Friday. I suppose that would make me more more a volunteer than a participant; this will be my first LAN party. Not sure what network games I have lying around; I thought I had a copy of Descent, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I'm open to suggestions (DOS or Linux/BSD; ain't got Windows). I have until Saturday to sort it out. Still, a place at table, a chair and power would be appreciated. I have my mini keyboard and 5" Evoyo monitor; not expecting to win the largest CRT contest with this. I have some NetGear switches and hubs (including one that supports 10 Base 2, if we need that. I can also bring network cables for the desperate (including 10 Base 2 connectors and terminators for the truly desperate), along with any other cables anyone else might need. I also have a couple of 15-pin and one USB joystick to loan. I might bring my Dell Latitude CPi A366XT with FreeDOS installed to see how it handles PCMCIA and an IBM EtherJet Express NIC. With a Pentium II-366 and 128MB RAM, it is neither beige nor a box, but at least the copyright is 1990-2001 and it out-classes my 386.

Hayden Neumeyer My beige box is an HP 54825A oscilloscope running Windows 98 SE. It features a 333 MHz AMD K6-2, 128MB of ram, Sound Blaster 16, and a very special HP gpu that allows the measurement hardware to draw directly to the screen. It can run most mid - late 90s titles pretty well (by 90s standards), I'm always down for some Unreal Tournament, Doom, Counter Strike, StarCraft, etc. Power requirements: Specified at 400W I will be bringing an external LCD. Table requirements: Unit is 30lb, 18in wide, 18in deep, LCD fits on top, I would love some space for a keyboard. pls gib chair.

McGlinn I'll be bringing my Pentium iii slot-1 500 or something like that which runs windows 2003 and probably something else as my backup machine since it's in a black case, maybe it won't even come inside. Hopefully one of my beige mini AT cases will be operational. I'm excited to get my IPXsend and IPXrecv going. I don't even know what's in these guys and it's only 14 hours from go time! Maybe they're Pentium 1s or maybe they're something better. I want to play c&c red alert but my disks are buried away so whatever I can find and transfer over I guess works. I'll be bringing Cisco 100mbit switches and running the NOC, if you need a port forced to 100 half, 10 half or whatever let me know the port and I'll change it. Bring bribes and I'll slow your opponent's port to 10 half or switch VLANs mid game. DHCP if you can or get your IP assignments from the NOC, we'll keep them in a Mead DB.

Luca (SRCS) My beige box is... my yellowed Dreamcast! It's packed with co-op fun like Gauntlet Legends, Dead Or Alive 2, Zombie Revenge, ChuChu Rocket!, GigaWing 2, and many more. I'll bring a "massive" 50-inch LCD, 4 joypads, and a bunch of games (and if we hook it into a CRT, we have light guns as well). With the DreamPI, we might even be able to play games like Quake III Arena over Ethernet. It'll be exciting to test it out!

Valentine aka PandLantis, /dev/hack Supermicro P6SBS Motherboard Pentium III @ 450Mhz 3DFx Voodoo 3 3000 AGP 3Com 3CR990-TX-97 NIC MV Thunderboard AC525 ISA Sound Card DOS 6.22 & Windows 2K All in the most beige and generic tower with a CD drive and a floppy drive. My CRT (Eizo Flexscan F760i) is currently in the shop (my shed) for a recap so it's a flat panel for me ;_; I'm also bringing my Northgate Omnikey 101 keyboard for some clicky Alps goodness.

Katie S. I'll bring my Gateway beige box running Windows 98 SE. Pentium III @ 550 MHz, 384MB of RAM. Sony Trinitron Multiscan 100sx CRT monitor. Wanna play DOOM, Duke Nukem 3D, Half Life Counter Strike, Palace Chat, or other cool ones. My mom says I can stay til 8pm.
