A Genius Way to Scroll on a Touchpad

Most modern touchpads support a handy feature called two-finger scrolling. It lets you scroll through documents, web pages, and other content by placing two fingers on the touchpad and moving them either vertically or horizontally.

Typically, people use their index and middle fingers for this gesture. But there's a downside: this often causes your hand to lift away from the typing area, disrupting your workflow and making scrolling less smooth and efficient.

Here's a neat trick I learned from my colleague that I haven't seen widely used: use both thumbs instead of the usual fingers. Place your thumbs on the touchpad to perform the two-finger scroll gesture. This way, your hands can stay right where they are - on the keyboard - while you scroll effortlessly.

I've been using this method for a while now, and it has made my workflow much smoother. If you spend a lot of time typing and scrolling, give the two-thumb scrolling a try - you might find it just as game-changing as I did!
