Consulting

Since 2010, I have provided consulting and management services as ECC. My early customer base under that brand was churches and small businesses as Electronic Christian Consulting, later rebranding and expanding as eCommerce Consulting. (I’m back to working full time in tech now, so I’m not doing as much consulting these days.)

Before ECC, I did development work and provided managed hosting as Synthesis Hosting. In my very early days (back to 2001), I partnered with a buddy of mine as KingSki Computers to build custom computers and websites.

Kalimera Properties

My wife rents property in the area. It’s really important to us that we treat each tenant with the utmost respect. We set rent fairly and do proactive maintenance on our properties with the same dilligence as if we lived there.

SewKalimera & Kalimera Printing

Under the Kalimera brand, my wife has turned her hobbies into small businesses, including sewing and making custom purses and screen printing. The things she created were always high quality and custom-made.

Shield of Cameron King Personal and Family Activities

Open Source

Periodically, I’ll go through phases where I want to write some code. Sometimes, this is to meet a specific needs - a website for some organization, or maybe a project for Cub Scouts. Sometimes, it’s just because I’m bored and want a puzzle to solve. I’ll usually upload that code to GitHub under a permissive license (most often, MIT).

As a Family

In addition to the activities listed above, everyone in the house (includng the kids) work, invest, explore, teach, and give with their own time and resources. Private donations are made through The King Family Charitable Fund.
